This creativity week we have been looking at how scientists believe that the Earth's atmosphere is heating up. Some people think that this is being caused by humans polluting the air with Carbon Dioxide.
We've been doing lots of research to find out how we can care for our planet and help do our bit for future generations.
If we all remember to switch off lights and other things that use electricity when we're not using them, we can help save the Earth's resources and reduce our carbon footprint.
Some people argue that Global Warming is nothing to do with humans. We say whether it is or it isn't, what's the harm in learning about how fragile our world is? Class 4 care about our planet and are proud to tell others what we can do to respect it!
We also had a visit from the man from zoolab.
We had to sort different types of rubbish to see what could be recycled.
The Zoo lab man showed us how to make our very own compost bin. Don't forget the worms!
What we especially liked (just before lunch) was the chance to hold a millipede and some worms. Nice!
We've been really busy in maths and have been working our socks off!
We made a giant clock to help tell the time.
Some of us were numbers while the others were the big and little hands.
We took turns to set the time on the giant clock and checked it on small ones.
Afterwards some of us made some clock monsters.
