First we went to Peter Barratt's to pick 'Cabby' the Koi Carp.  We picked a fish in Crookhill colours.

S6300714.JPG

Here is Cabby!

S6300712.JPG

When we got to Shasun we had our picnic.  It began to rain.

S6300719.JPG

We put Cabby in the lagoon.

S6300720.JPG

We put some coins in the Wishing Well and made a wish.

S6300722.JPG

The swans went in the lagoon.

S6300715.JPG

The beautiful birds of prey.  We stroked the owl, it felt soft.  They were nice.

S6300723.JPG

This is a rare flower called a Bee Orchid. S6300726.JPG

We took some bags home.  It was a wild child bag.  It had sweets, activity book, booklets, colouring in books and stickers.

WW2 GAS MASK EXPERIENCE.

Jennie brought in her Grandad's WW2 gas mask. S6300321.JPGWe were brave and tried  it on.

S6300322.JPG

It was uncomfortable.

S6300323.JPG

We could smell rubber.

S6300324.JPG

It was tight around our eyes.
