Children Today, Citizens Tomorrow

No Captain's Table this week, but we had The Picnic Table.

The Pirate Captain's Table arrives next week.  Shiver me timbers!  Will YOU get an invite?  Remember all the dinner staff are looking for good table manners.

Here we are at the Metro Centre Bowling Alley.  Who is going to get a strike?

At the bowling alley I got my ball and I tried to get a strike.

I was going to get a strike and I did . Yippppppppppeeeeeeeeeee!

I knocked down 9 pins.

My best score was 8 pins down. I was happy.

I got a 6 pins down. Yessssssssssssssssssss!

Our last photograph together because CAB is closing. 

After the dodgems we went to Macdonalds for an ice cream.

We had a great time.

I had my McFlurry and I enjoyed myself.

Mrs Wannop enjoyed herself, especially the dodgem cars.  Everyone was bumping each other and having a laugh.

First we went to Peter Barratt's to pick 'Cabby' the Koi Carp.  We picked a fish in Crookhill colours.

When we got to Shasun we had our picnic.  It began to rain.

We put Cabby in the lagoon.

We put some coins in the Wishing Well and made a wish.

The swans went in the lagoon.

The beautiful birds of prey.  We stroked the owl, it felt soft.  They were nice.

This is a rare flower called a Bee Orchid.

We took some bags home.  It was a wild child bag.  It had sweets, activity book, booklets, colouring in books and stickers.

This is what our toilets looked like.  

The roof was taken off.

Bit by bit, the walls were taken down.

Now they are gone.

Jennie brought in her Grandad's WW2 gas mask. We were brave and tried  it on.

It was uncomfortable.

We could smell rubber.

It was tight around our eyes.

But where is the picture of Miss Cowley wearing it.  She was not brave enough to try!!!!
