As part of our Ancient Greece topic, Class Six visited South Shields Museum and Art Gallery to see the British Museum's travelling exhibition. We were fascinated by the artefacts - including some pottery over 2000 years old!

We found out about the life of a Hopolite solider and enjoyed wearing some of the replica helmets and shields. We also looked the part in our authentic Greek costumes.

We learnt lots and lots on our trip and wrote some lovely thank you letters to the museum to thank them for the great day we had.
