Reaching for the stars

Pupils in Year 6 that meet every Wednesday after school to work with Miss Sharpe, Miss McCormack and Mrs Easton have been creating some fabulous stories for a writing competition. The theme was 'Reach for the Stars.' Our budding authors have lots of imagination and creative talent. We have had a wide range of interpretations - stories of rockets in outer space, secret diaries being published by mistake! and battles to conquer bullying. The group have worked very hard. After half term they will - 'in true author fashion,' need to edit their stories and come up with their final piece to send off. A prize of £50 is up for grabs so fingers crossed that one of our authors does well. Why don't you have a go yourself? What theme would you follow with the story title 'Reach for the Stars.'
