The group sort through the wool fibres and place it onto a bamboo mat. Placing layers of wool ontop of each other, until there is a big pile. Then a piece of netting goes ontop of the wool and is soaked with water and rubbed with soap.

Here Jennie and Jordan rub their wool fibres with soap and water until it lathers up, going in a circular motion.

Stephen and Alex have a bash at rubbing their wool with soap and water. It's very hard work and takes a while until its felted and ready to rinse.

This picture shows Jennie and Jordans piece of felt before it gets washed.

Stephen and Alex have fun washing their felt and take time to make sure all the soap has gone out of the wool.

The group are really pleased with their finished piece of felt and think it was fun and exciting.
