Class 2's topic this term is Tinsel Toon, and we're learning all about Newcastle and Gateshead. We have been learning about the great fire of Gateshead which happened in 1853.
The year 1's drew chalk pictures of the fire over the river.
While the year 2's drew maps of where the fire started next to the River Tyne.
