Reception class have been busy cooking again. To keep up with our healthy eating we have made flapjacks. To make them extra healthy we used honey instead of syrup and added yummy raisins.
We mixed all the dry ingredients together while Mrs Burke melted the butter, brown sugar and syrup together on the hob. We are not allowed to touch the hot pan.
When the butter was all melted we mixed it in with the dry ingredients. It went all sticky.
We put it into a lined tin ready for the oven. We took our flapjacks home to eat after our Kids R Fit session. Reception class are going to be super healthy!!!

The children do so much during school time.
But yet everytime Kaitlin comes home she says that she has done nothing all day!!!
Its great to see the photographic evidence.
