This week Reception class have been very busy investigating patterns outside the classroom. We went to the bottom of the field (got very muddy) and collected lots of natural materials.
We found leaves, sticks, feathers, berries, conkers and conker shells.
Take a look at some of the repeating patterns we have made.
We found that we can make repeating patterns with lots of different things.
We had lots of fun making our patterns. Can you spot the mistake in one of our patterns? You'll have to look very closely.
