Hunting in the snow!

Reception class are learning all about nocturnal animals this term. We thought that we would take advantage of the snow and go looking for animal tracks on the field. Take a look at our photos and see if you can tell which animal made these tracks.

Most of the children thought it might be a fox!!!

These odd shaped tracks went straight into the trees. We had no idea what could have made these tracks. Any ideas?

There were some parts of the field that were so deep with snow that some of us could barely stand.

Well, since most of us were soaking wet and covered in snow by this point there was only one thing left to do .....

It started to snow really heavily when we were on the field so some children thought it might be a good idea to see if the shelter we made before Christmas really works.

Looks like all the children had loads of fun in the snow Miss Brown. Well done for getting them out, its not easy getting 20 children ready, wellies, coats, hats, gloves and scarfs and making sure you come back with it all.
Loved the photos..
