Class Five and Class six enjoyed a trip out to Heworth CLC. During the visit we learned how to use the computers to control devices such as traffic lights. We then learned how to programme the computer to light up the clown's face. We all really enjoyed designing our dream bedrooms - where we controlled the TV to come on when the door was shut!
Class Six also found out about the story of Bram Stoker's Dracular and used the software to gather clues from characters and answer questions.
Class Five learned about George and the Dragon!
We enjoyed having our luch there and getting a bit of fresh air on the huge tennis courts.
All children got a certificate of attendance and they all worked really hard to earn credits through answering questions and their excellent behaviour.
