Yesterday Class 2 had a nice surprise when Alan's mam came into school with two of her chickens. Alan helps his mam with their allotment where they grow their own vegetables and keep chickens, hens and cockerels. Michelle brough in two chicks that were just 4 weeks old. She told us how she looks after them and what they like to eat.
We were all very excited about getting to feel the chicks.
We had to be very gentle with the chicks. After all, they are still babies.
Thank you to Michelle once again. It was a lovely treat.
