This term, Reception class have been learning all about mini-beasts. We have worked so hard this term producing lots of lovely mini-beast work. Take a look at some examples below.
Beautiful butterfly biscuits.
Super spider webs.
Lovely ladybug buns.
Making mini-beast story books using a micro-scope and 2 create software.
Creating a mini-beast haven with Mrs Adams.
Super snail bread.
Gorgeous butterfly prints.
Playdough caterpillars.
We have had a very busy half term but the fun doesn't stop there. Mrs Adams will continue this topic after half term. I wonder what other things we can learn about mini-beasts.

Hi there, I loved the pictures of your minibeasts biscuits and ladybug buns. What recipe did you use ? I hope to use with my class.
Kind regards

Hi. We just used an ordinary Victoria Sponge cake mix. Made red icing and chocolate drops for the ladybug spots. They are very easy to make and the children can decorate themselves. Good luck!
