Our new topic in Reception is 'The Seaside!' We began the week by looking at the features of the seaside and making fabulous treasure maps. We made them look very rustic by staining and scrunching up the paper.
We put lots of different obstacles on the map such as mountains, palm trees and sharks.
Adam is very proud of his map.
By the end of the week when they are fully completed they will all look fabulous.
To continue with our seaside theme we made seaside sandwiches. Most of us didn't fancy traditional egg and tomato or tuna so we had either jam, ham or cheese.
We used seaside shape cutters to cut our sandwiches.
