Reception class are reading a book called "Growing Good" in preperation for Bernard Ashley visiting in a few weeks time. The books is about growing all sorts of different things.
Today we focused on fruit and vegetables making our lovely new Reception class a very colourful mess.
We started by looking at a range of different fruits and vegetables then cut them in half to look at the patterns on the inside. We then used the right coloured paint to make some lovely patterns.
This afternoon we looked at lots of different fruits and made fruit kebabs. We have had a very healthy day.
We tried to use as many different fruits as we could.
Some of us only wanted to use one kind of fruit but it still looked and tasted delicious.
Have a look in the gallery for the rest of our fruity photos.
