This week is 'community week' at Crookhill. Each class is looking at a different community within Gateshead and Newcastle. Reception class are looking at Romania since we have an expert in our class. We have started the week by looking at the Romanian flag and even made our own!
Some of us used art straws...
and some of us used crepe paper. It was tricky filling in all the spaces but we persevered until it was finished. Tomorrow afternoon Darius' Mum is coming into school to cook some traditional Romanian food. We can't wait.
Keep checking the site this week to see which community each class is learning about.
