Today Reception and Year 6 visited Stowell Street for a Chinese banquet. Both classes have been learning all about China and Chinese New Year. We went to Lau's Buffet King to sample some delicious Chinese cuisine.

The staff in the restaurant were really impressed by our fantastic behaviour and attitude to trying new things.

Can you believe some of us had more than 3 plates of food and then pudding?

Some of us were very brave and tried to eat using the chop sticks.

The year 6 children were great and helped the Reception children to fill and re-fill their plates.

After our delicious banquet we went into the Chinese Supermarket to buy some decorations for our classrooms and to take home.

Your Comments

It certainly looks like Y6 and Reception had a great time in China Town. I hear the food was delicious and you had fabulous manners. Well done on behaving so beautifully and a big thank you to all the adults who went too.
