Crookhill Primary School is situated on the outskirts of Ryton.
At Crookhill Primary School, our children are educated in a caring family atmosphere, in a stimulating and rich environment. We have high expectations of all our pupils and our aim is for them to reach their full potential. Our recent Ofsted report graded Crookhill as a Good School with many outstanding features. "pupils' achievement is good and behaviour is exemplary. The curriculum is outstanding and extended in innovative ways. Care, guidance and support are outstanding" - November 2007.
There are currently 135 pupils aged 4-11 years on roll and there is also an Early Years for children aged 2-4 years and a breakfast and after-school club known as GAP. We offer a range of after-school clubs such as Production club, netball and basketball, sewing, ICT and recorder to name just a few.
We believe that by working alongside parents and the community we can develop a real partnership to benefit our children.
