« Magical Magnets! | Main | Creativity Fortnight presents ... 'Dramatic Drama!' »
Today was the beginning of our creativity fortnight. We are going to be spending the next two weeks working on a whole cluster project with the aim to make us fantastic story tellers and writers. The primary schools in the cluster will be having a competition to see which school can come up with the best story. To get us started we were visited by the fabulous story teller Adam Bushnell. He brought an amazing array of story telling props to get our imaginations flowing along with his amazing ability to tell a captivating story.
He got us all engaged and involved in his stories inviting some brave volunteers to help act out his stories.
He has worked with each class throughout the school to help us to create our own story. He started with Reception class helping them to make up the villain in our story.
Adam helped class 1 to make up a Helpful hero to rescue the school from the villain created in the minds of the Reception children. The rest of the school are working on the setting, the main plot and a fascinating ending for the story. We can't wait for it to all come together. Watch this space for an amazing story written by the children of Crookhill.
