Dream catchers.

« Sports Day | Main | Year 6 at the Forest School - Toasted apples and teepees. »

Today Reception class finished off their work on Healthy body and healthy mind by reading the book 'The huge bag of worries'. We read the book and talked about all the small things that worry us. We wrote down our worries but we didn't have a huge bag to put them in so we made one.

DSC06285.JPGGary spent ages trying to weave the string through the holes we had made but it was fabulous when we were finished and held our worries beautifully.

Some of the children decided they would like something to catch worries in so we collected lots of natural materials like willow, long grass and feathers and made a huge dream catcher, which will only let nice thoughts into our classroom.
