Practical problem solving in Maths
In Maths we have been developing our problem solving skills. Today we looked at how we can act out and represent problems using equipment to help us really ‘see’ and then understand the problem. This helped us to ultimately solve a range of problems.

Creating the Grand Canyon
In Geography, we have been learning about the geography of the USA. We have looked at the Grand Canyon and how it was formed by the Colorado River eroding the rock. We recreated this on the school field and looked at how we could form our own canyons
