Fundraising Update

This year we have chosen St Oswald’s as our nominated charity. St Oswald’s works with families in the North East to improve the lives of those living with incurable conditions.  We know about the work of this amazing charity because of their involvement with two of our lovely colleagues, Mrs O'Shaughnessy and Mrs Bunting.

Our original aim was to raise £2000 through various fund raising activities. By the middle of November we had already exceeded that target through various fundraisers in school such as the summer fayre, bake sales and staff fundraising activities.

Staff have taken on a number of challenges:

Mrs Bradford completed the Great North Run.

Miss McCormack, Mrs Kelly, Mrs Willoughny, Miss Mauaghan and Mrs Farooq completed a zip wire from the Tyne Bridge to the Baltic.

Mrs Bainbridge. Miss Simpson, Mrs Drummond, Mrs Adams and Mrs Bunting are doing a firewalk at the end of November - walking across hot coals!!
