Home Learning from 20.4.2020

Hello parents and carers,

We hope you have had a lovely Easter, are well and have enjoyed family time together.

First of all, we would like to say a big thank you for your continued support in helping us to continue to provide education to your child at this difficult time. Teachers will start setting work again from Monday 20th April. We are aware that some families have struggled to access online activities therefore English and Maths workbooks have been purchased for children from Reception to Year 5 (Year 6 pupils already have their revision books). It is hoped that these will be delivered to school early next week and our aim is for staff to deliver the resources to families by the end of the week. Please be reassured that staff will be following government guidelines when delivering the workbooks, keeping a safe distance, wearing gloves, washing hands etc. Staff will be setting work from the books each week and it is expected that work will be completed and the books returned to be used in school when we reopen again. There will also be online activities for the children to complete.

Please check emails (class or Purple Mash), Facebook and/or the school website Closure Information section for your child’s class from Monday for details of learning activities. Mrs Kelly has also added some links to extra online resources which will be useful for parents and children. These will also be available from Monday.

As always, please contact school if you have any questions or concerns. We will do whatever we can to help.

Stay Safe!
