End of Term Message to Parents 3.4.20

Thank you for your continued support during this difficult time for everyone in our school community. We will continue to communicate with you over the coming weeks via Facebook, text and Marvellous Me. Please contact us if there is anything you need by phoning or texting school.

During the  holidays, staff will not be setting work as it is important for children and staff to have the same rest and break from school work as they would usually have and to enjoy family time together.  Children can still complete online activities if they wish and this would be a good time for reading for pleasure.

Staff have started to plan work for the Summer term and the home learning activities will resume after the Spring break on Monday 20th April.

I hope you can enjoy some quality family time over the holidays.  Of course, this is usually a great time for getting outside and enjoying the fresh air, perhaps visiting the park or even the beach if the weather is kind.  This won't be the case for this holiday and a lot of time will be spent indoors or in the garden.  We know that we are encouraged to get out for an hour of exercise each day and this is a great way to keep children fit and fill some time in each day.  Many of our staff have young children at home and have been sharing some ideas for keeping them occupied over the holiday so we thought we would share some of our ideas with you too.  It would be great to hear if you have tried any out!  You can find these ideas on the 'Holiday Activity Ideas' page in the school closure information section of the website.

As always, please get in touch if you need anything.  Stay safe and we hope to see you soon.
