    Maths - Making 3D Shapes

    We enjoyed making 3D shapes with Play-Dough today. We had to make sure we made flat faces for some and curved faces for others. The easiest was the sphere and the trickiest was the square based pyramid.

    Multiplication in Y3

    We are now ready in Year 3 to multiply 2 digit numbers by 1 digit numbers. We used place value counters to the correct number of sets so that we could find the answer. Eventually we will start using a written method but for now we are showing a greater understanding of the process.
